Charlottes expression darkened. If Anita defended herself, she wouldnt stand a chance. There was only one way to put Anita in her place, and that was to send someone to kill her and make it look like an accident, just as Sheila did to Charlottes parents house.
Its good that she and Alpha Nick would be away. The job could be completed before their return, and that way, no one would even suspect her. At the thought, she smiled.
However, when Alpha Nick spoke again, the smile froze on her face. I will send some of the warriors to guard your house until my return.
With his level of experience handling numerous cat fights, the outcome was always not a good one.
Anitas respect grew for her Alpha but wondered why the moon goddess paired him with such an evil mate.

out of the uncomfortable situation.
The gala awards was a great event, and everybody would want to look their best, so it was just fair that she had
her beauty rest.
